Joseph Gordon Willard was born March 15th 1922 in Bainsville, ON[1][2] of George Ouellette and Emma-Louise Montroy, baptized April 16th 1922 in St-Joseph, Lancaster, and confirmed in St. Columban's (Cornwall) on May 31st 1931.[3] He married Eileen Pieman September 20th 1941[2], and fathered Tim, Gary, and Patricia Willard.[4]
He served in the Second World War (service #D76403) in the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders, in the John McMartin Memorial Branch legion branch, based in Cornwall, Ontario.[5]
He submitted (or requested) a family group sheet in Lancaster, ON (year unknown)[2] and another in c. 1972. He lived with Eileen at 904 Osborne Avenue, Cornwall before his death at the Cornwall General Hospital on April 10th 1992 (aged 70 years).[4] He was interred at the St. Lawrence Valley Union Cementary in Ingleside, Ontario.[4]
